new year's eve

Celebrating New Year's Eve with my beautiful new dress from MNG.

This year has been such a ride that has taken me on such an unexpected journey, there were definitely bad moments but there were also the good ones that I'll always remember. What I remember though is the amount of things this year taught me alone. Hopefully 2012 will be brighter and filled with opportunities, for I can only try to grasp and take advantage of every moment because life passes by so fast.
Happy New Year everyone!
Stay safe!

push on

Yesterday's outfit consisted of a floral dress from a market in Vietnam, a turquoise and gold belt from Forever New. Today I wore my Portmans maxi dress as a maxi skirt with a black top but I was in a hurry I didn't get a chance to photograph. These days have been okay, a little sad here and there but with recent happenings I've really tried to be more positive and move on alot faster from things the old Ivy would've probably moped about. I guess sometimes you just need to let things go and move on, because it's not the end of the world, what matters in the end is that you take chances and that you try. You just have to gracefully accept things. It is what it is.

melancholia,

It was nice and warm before but now it's all dark and grey. I've just gotten home from school and feeling quiet run down and tired, a good meal and dessert is in order I think. It feels like a Friday today and I have no idea why. I've discovered one of my biggest flaws is my double chin, how lovely. I just have alot of facial and neck fat I guess, which is not too good but I guess it's not the worst thing in the world haha. I wore a little floral scallop hem dress today, not too much colour as I originally planned to wear but it was the first thing I reached for in the morning.Below is a picture of me with no eye make up! Eugh! This was the ending of month one or two of using Rapid Lash (an amazing lash growth stimulator).
