strange days

Life has been interesting and strange lately in terms of it's happenings and I have been preparing for the colder months by buying some winter clothing and staples. Today I bought a new pair of gorgeous boots, similar to my suede ones for a great price and I am so excited to wear them. I now need to buy a new bag and a few knit sweaters, a pair of wet coat tube jeans and I think I am all set. I bought a beautiful beige trenchcoat that will never go out of style, it's gorgeous and I love it and I think I will have many wears with it and there is the leather skirt that I think will be perfect for winter. Last week I found a cute kitten in my backyard in the garden, I thought it was alone but it had it's brothers and sisters and mumma too. Too cute!

Back In Melbourne

For the past five weeks I have been in Vietnam enjoying the hot weather, beaches, food and shopping so that explains the lack of posts. But I am back and it has been two days of being home in Melbourne where I have gotten back to healthy eating and exercise because slacked in Vietnam and ate and ate, but the food was wonderful. Yesterday I bought a lovely crochet skirt for a really good price and today a pair of taupe coloured platform wedges (shows up grey in pictures for some weird reason). Today's outfit was the croceht skirt I bought yesterday, a simple white singlet and Forever New denim jacket with my white Converse.

navajo beat

Last night I went out for a birthday dinner and the weather was lovely. Tonight I am leaving Melbourne to go to Vietnam where the crazy shopping will commence! The high waist shorts I bought on Thursday afternoon on impulse after trying them on. I wasn't supposed to but they are just so nice. Anyway, in Vietnam I will definitely be buying alot of beauty products and eating alot of food. Hopefully the Chanel foundation I want will be a tad cheaper over there. I am sick at the moment with a bad cough but hopefully will I will be better by the time I touch down in Vietnam!

as you do,

These past few days I have been so unorganised in school work, I have no idea where my head is these days but it feels good, I feel content and I care less about the things that I shouldn't care about. It really is a strange feeling, one that I can't explain but I think I am okay with it. Anyway I bought a black crop top and textured skirt the other day and I love them both (in first outfit picture). There are two more weeks left of school and then I will be on holidays for five weeks! The necklace is something I bought yesterday at a really good price from Portmans and the black skirt is one of the staples in my wardrobe and was also a bargain as well.

wicked games,

The lack of updates have been due to things happening in life. Gah! But now I am back and yesterday I bought a new phone on plan, the Samsun Galaxy S2 and it's great! I haven't been shopping much as I'm trying to save up, plus last week I went back to school. This month I am hoping to invest in the Chanel Vitalumiere Aqua foundation. This week, Melbourne weather has been raining and chilly and grey and only today it is nice and warm again. In about three weeks I will be leaving for Thailand and Vietnam which means I will be able to shop and eat all the wonderful food! I feel the need to decorate my room and make it prettier as I am jealous of pretty rooms! I am an interior design student after all!

“Have you ever lost yourself in a kiss? I mean pure psychedelic inebriation. Not just lustful petting but transcendental metamorphosis when you became aware that the greatness of this being was breathing into you. Licking the sides and corners of your mouth, like sealing a thousand fleshy envelopes filled with the essence of your passionate being and then opened by the same mouth and delivered back to you, over and over again - the first kiss of the rest of your life. A kiss that confirms that the universe is aligned, that the world’s greatest resource is love, and maybe even that God is a woman. With or without a belief in God, all kisses are metaphors decipherable by allocations of time, circumstance, and understanding” - Saul Williams

new year's eve

Celebrating New Year's Eve with my beautiful new dress from MNG.

This year has been such a ride that has taken me on such an unexpected journey, there were definitely bad moments but there were also the good ones that I'll always remember. What I remember though is the amount of things this year taught me alone. Hopefully 2012 will be brighter and filled with opportunities, for I can only try to grasp and take advantage of every moment because life passes by so fast.
Happy New Year everyone!
Stay safe!
xoxo
